This program builds upon and complements what is presented in the Farm to Pharmacy curriculum but can also be taken by those without previous experience who have a sincere interest in herbal medicine. Delving deeper into herbal theory and philosophy from a traditional Western, Chinese, and Ayurvedic perspective, there will be in-depth study of materia medica, formulation, traditional diagnosis, pathophysiology, herbal therapeutics, traditional and modern dietetics, and more. Designed to educate students in the use of herbs as the foundation of a cost effective, sustainable health care system at the individual, family, and community level, this training empowers participants to begin bringing sustainable health care to their community.

This weekend program (along with a one-week intensive) allows students to attend even if traveling from a distance.

Sliding scale tuition: $3000 (for incomes <$30k,) $3300 ($30k-60k,) $3700 (>$60k)

Pay in full before September 30th and save 10%! 

A non-refundable deposit of $400 is required to hold space upon registration.

 

Payment plan: Installments due in equal amounts by the first six class Fridays.
