Herbal Dispensaries were once an integral part of the healthcare delivery system in the United States. Today they are making a comeback. Here at Goldthread, we are set up to fulfill practitioner protocols. Our services are available to Herbalists, Chiropractors, Acupuncturists, Physicians, etc, who wish to create individualized formulas for their patients, yet do not have access to an extensive materia medica. Here, practitioners can draw from our wide selection of Chinese, Western, and Ayurvedic herbs and formulas. We can custom blend liquid extracts, powders, bulk teas, capsules, creams, and massage oils all created to your specifications. Our qualified herbalists are always available for questions and guidance if needed.

How does it work?
The procedure is simple. Once an herbal prescription has been decided upon, you can call, fax, or e-mail it over to us, and we will prepare it for pick up, or drop shipping if requested. Written formulas can also be delivered by the patient. The formulas filled are kept on our database for easy access to refills, significant medical conditions, and possible allergies, etc. In addition, the person taking the herbs will receive detailed instructions on dosage, preparation, herb/drug interactions, and contraindications.

Here at Goldthread, we assure quality and cleanliness. Our work area and instruments are regularly sterilized and meet all health code requirements.
